One of my FAVE sets ever made. No I am not biased. I would think that whether I was involved in the production or not. I never tire of this set. This was the first set that Lycia Sharyl appeared in for @BiM, shot by me in 2017. It was very easy to shoot. It was one of those sets that shot itself really. You can see the full set along with thousands of others from an archive going back 22 years over at http://www.bodyinmind.com and which continues to go from strength to strength and set the gold standard to this day. My thoughts on this set when setting it up were a little muddled. I wanted the denim shorts and rugged industrial background with purple / pink fill flash as it reminded me of the old workshop sets from the calendars of the 1980s and 1990s and in a nostalgic nod back to those days whilst lamenting their demise the NMP3 T-shirt was added in defiance to the militant beauty haters. It then kind of evolved as Lycia is so good at different poses and expressions and the lighting setup just seemed to properly click so I suggested more of an art nude treatment and reached for my trusty baby oil to really bring some texture and contrast to her amazing natural body. The whole mission probably took just 15 mins if that. We shot a lot of images but only the very best make it to BiM. #ThinkBeautiful For those of you who are not familiar with Angel Face, head over to BiM and enjoy the full work of art. And for those who remember it fondly, enjoy this little #Throwback sampler of my absolute fave shots from the set.
