From my early days shooting when I used a Sony Alpha 700 and shot in MQ JPEG only. I thought photoshop etc was cheating. Don't get me wrong, I am certainly no airbrusher or retoucher these days, but I do at least shoot in RAW/NEF and I make minor corrections for exposure and WB. Back before 2017 I had no software for such and also found it deeply tiresome as a concept so just shot in JPEG. Although it is a dinosaur approach is did force me to get exposure right on the day in the moment. We get a little bit complacent nowadays with the whole "oh I can take that down in light room" or "well it's a little bit dim but I can boost it later". Katie Louise was down in London for the weekend for shoots and socialising so I grabbed a morning with her in a hotel in Farringdon. Katie is a lovely bubbly English model from the North East and has been modelling quite some time. She is very widely published.
